Now 24 Illinois Hospitals Have Been Given Perfect A Safety Grades

I can count on one hand the number of times in my life when I aced a test. For 24 Illinois hospitals, that's no big deal as the numbers of medical facilities given perfect 'A' grades for patient safety has now increased.

You might recall a few weeks ago, I shared the news that 22 Illinois hospitals had been given 'A' grades for patient safety by Hospital Safety Grade. That was based on complete 2023 data. This new ranking now includes the first four months of 2024 and isn't the result of the simple addition of two more hospitals. Some previously mentioned no longer have their 'A' grade and many new ones have been added that now do. Here's the complete list.
