Many Say this Illinois Road is Haunted by a Phantom Black Car

I don't know about you, but I can easily laugh off a random story about a location being haunted. However, it's a different story entirely when hundreds of people tell the same tale. In this case, it's a warning to stay away from an Illinois road many claim is haunted by a phantom black car.

If you Google "most haunted road in Illinois", you will find one specific roadway mentioned numerous times. It's this innocent looking stretch near Barrington, Illinois.

Illinois Haunted Houses says it's W Cuba Road in the Lake Zurich area. If you travel a little further to the east, you'll find White Cemetery.

American Hauntings says it's near here where many have seen "a phantom black automobile that appears near the cemetery". There's also a house nearby that many say will disappear right before their eyes. The odd twist is that those who recently reported this do not know that a house used to exist across from this cemetery, but mysteriously burned down years ago. Is there a connection between this ghost house and the black phantom car that appears then vanishes when people drive by?

There's only one thing that's known for sure and that's the fact that something weird is happening near White Cemetery on W Cuba Road near Barrington, Illinois. What that weird phenomena really happens to be is anyone's guess.
