I am rarely the smartest person in any room, so perhaps there's something I'm missing about a fact I've discovered. The lowest-rated place in the entire state of Missouri has a big problem. I've discovered that no one seems to live there.

If you take a look at the best places to live in Missouri as shared by Niche, you'll have to scroll all the way down their list to find Cowan Township. It's located approximately here in Missouri.

Oh, so you don't see Cowan Township on that map? Neither can I because no one lives there and I can't quite prove it exists with one exception. Google says that Cowan Township, Missouri is an "inactive township" in Wayne County.

Niche claims that 454 people (or somethings) live in Cowan Township, Missouri and those 454 phantoms aren't happy either as they gave it a D- rating. There are few things worse than ticked off ghosts.

Here's another interesting fact about this non-existent yet lowly rated Missouri place. 36% of the ghosts have some type of college education. That's more than I can claim which is beyond depressing. Whatever wraiths are haunting this part of rural Wayne County, Missouri have at least gotten educated. That's a positive development.

Wikipedia proves that Cowan Township, Missouri at least used to exist and was named after a pioneer guy named "Uncle Dicky" Cowan. Is he still around and posting reviews on Niche? On second thought, please don't answer that question.
