By now, I'm sure you're aware that Missouri was a slick place to be Monday after ice canvased the area. Security camera video shows a Missouri guy who suddenly got pulled from his driveway into the street when he ended up on a sheet of ice.

This close call happened in Blue Springs, Missouri on Monday, January 22, 2024 after ice blanketed driveways and streets. Here's the backstory of what happened to this guy named Jason:

Jason walked out getting ready for work and his neighbor said be careful. Then his footing gave way.

I'll give credit to Jason. He handled this like a pro and had the grace of Dorothy Hamill (old school figure skating reference) when he realized he was moving at the ice's will.

Monday's ice storm in Missouri was no joke. I can't recall the last time I saw so many vehicles that had slid off into the ditch of roadways and highways. As far as Jason is concerned, all's well that ends well as fortunately no vehicles were coming down his street at the time of his involuntary skating journey.
