A ‘Gravy Coaster’ Will Soon Be a Day Trip Away from Missouri
I love gravy and I love rollercoasters. If you do too, boy do I have a wonderous destination idea for 2024. It's a 'gravy coaster' that will be an easy day trip from Missouri by next Spring.
Have you ever taken the time to drive to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari? It's a fun park located near Santa Claus, Indiana. It's the part of Indiana that's north of Owensboro, Kentucky and east of Evansville, Indiana. Think weekend getaway distance from Missouri.
The park recently announced a brand new rollercoaster that will have a distinct gravy theme to it. The rollercoaster cars are gravy boats.
It's called "Good Gravy" and will be part of what they describe as a "Thanksgiving-themed" part of the park.
One thing I love about my Indiana/Hoosier friends is their sense of humor and they're bringing it in spades with this new gravy coaster. I'm all in. According to a new share on their Facebook page, construction has already begun.
The video says that "Good Gravy" will open in May of 2024, so make sure your appetite is up for a road trip to one of the most unique coasters in America that's reachable for a weekend from Missouri.
