Some of the greatest sports stars that have ever played the game for our favorite teams in Illinois and Wisconsin will be coming to Rockford this July to compete for a local charity.

Celebrity Softball Game with Former Chicago and Wisconsin Sports Star

An annual summer event will debut this July 15 when Rockford Rivets Stadium hosts a Celebrity Softball Game to benefit the Rockford Boys and Girls Club that will feature "the most iconic names in Wisconsin and Chicago sports."

According to the press release from the Rivets, this charity event will feature "two teams of legendary athletes" doing battle in a thrilling softball showdown, all for a great cause.
