Illinois Police Warn Parents Of Laced Gummy Candies
In the last ten years, criminals have been getting pretty creative when it comes to drugs. According to Newschannel20.com, in Casey Illinois police are warning parents about drug-laced gummy candies. As of now, the candies have been found in Clark and Cumberland County. The police also received information that 5 different drugs are being used in the laced candies.
The police department's Facebook page also stated that children sometimes purchase bags of mixed gummies, and they don't know exactly what kind of drugs they are ingesting. They continue to say that parents really need to check their children's rooms and backpacks just in case they might have received them as a gift from a friend. Please keep your eyes peeled, and if you do find some that are not in their original packaging, contact the police or just throw them away. Just be careful and be aware.
