A carpenter in Aurora, Illinois named Greg Zanis has been making wooded crosses for crime and accident victims since 1997. Over the years he has placed over 14,000 crosses for different memorials across the country, and this week he will be headed to Vegas with over 50 more.

Zanis' nonprofit organization is called Crosses for Lossesand his anti-violence displays have gained his national attention, especially in the aftermath of the Columbine shootings in 1999.

Zanis does this alone, so any donations received are highly appreciated and will help him continue to provide comfort to families whose loved ones were lost to senseless acts of violence.

Here's the link to his GoFundMe page if you are able to help his mission in any way. Thank you, and God Bless You, Greg Zanis!
