Illinois Man Admits To Bizarre Obsession With Items For Sale Online
Remember the days when you went to eBay or Craigslist to buy things "online." Sure, Amazon existed but I don't feel like that company was top of mind for me. This is certainly true for second-hand items like vehicles and electronics for sure.
Fact: You can find pretty much anything for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
This does not mean the item is available in your local area but you can truly find almost anything you are looking for. My favorite items to scroll through are the free things, you're bound to find gold. By "gold" I mean something that makes you scratch your head in wonder. One thing is certain, Facebook Market place is the 2022 version of a garage sale.
THE BEST THINGS FOR SALE
This article is going to take a weird turn but, hear me out. It isn't the items that I'm looking to purchase that entertain me, it's the photos. You see, any object that creates a reflection is fascinating. An example would be this television in Loves Park.
(This is not the thing I scroll for the most).
Or this television in Rockford.
What's With This Bizarre Fascination?
I love looking at the reflection to see what is in the background, specifically in mirrors. It's strange, I know.
Aside from spotting random objects in the reflection it's also the method used to take a picture of a mirror. This is not an easy task if you're trying to keep yourself out of view.
Let's check out some of the reflections in these mirrors for sale on Facebook Marketplace, some of which are being sold out of Illinois.
MIRRORS FOR SALE (OWNERS NOT INCLUDED)
This man does a fine job with hand placement and the room is clean too.
For this next mirror, my question is more about the cans in the background. What's the story? Those would make an awesome background for a personal bar.
Sometimes you have to get low for the perfect picture of the mirror you're selling on Facebook.
And, finally, this squiggly mirror. Too bad it isn't one of those mirrors from a funhouse that makes you yourself ook all squiggly.
There you have, a weird obsession I'm willing to admit publicly. Also, if you didn't notice, the pics will lead to the item's Marketplace listing. #whilesupplieslast
