As you're driving down Illinois Route 2 between Machesney Park and South Beloit, or maybe even Meridian, you'll want to keep your eyes pealed; and not for the deer that are grazing the fields but for...Bigfoot?

According to Fox 32 Chicago, Illinois had the second highest number of Bigfoot sightings in 2017, with a total of 10, falling behind Washington who had 12.

Wondering where?

I did some searching online and it looks like the most common areas, at least according to BigFootSightings.Org, the most common place for sasquatch sightings is in central Illinois in towns like "Effingham, Decatur, Clinton, Pekin, Peoria, and Farmer City."

Do you believe it?

The Stateline area has some pretty heavily wooded areas, so it's safe to say that a Bigfoot sighting is possible; but there's also a pretty good chance that it was just my boyfriend Jason looking for deer.
