A country music favorite known for multiple number 1 hits is headed to Illinois for an end-of-summer concert in September.
Illinois Fairgoers Getting Another Big Country Show
The Du Quoin State Fair has announced another major addition to its 2026 entertainment lineup, bringing a chart-topping country music performer to the Grandstand for a Labor Day concert.
The concert is planned for Monday, September 7, the final day of the fair, which runs from August 28 through September 7, and organizers say this live performance will be one of the fair's most anticipated shows.
A Voice Country Fans Know Instantly
Country music hitmaker Randy Houser will deliver a night packed with chart-topping country favorites on September 7, with songs like How Country Feels, Runnin' Outta Moonlight, and Goodnight Kiss, He is one of country music's most recognizable voices.
Beyond his success on country radio, Houser has surpassed 1 billion career streams and received critical acclaim for the song "Like A Cowboy," which earned a CMA Song of the Year nomination.
More Than a Country Music Star
Randy Houser's career has also expanded into acting, with appearances in the film Killers of the Flower Moon directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as the film The Hill, starring Dennis Quaid.
According to Du Quoin State Fair management, Houser's authentic country sound and sing-along catalog will make this performance a show not to miss.
