Job recruiters from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) are joining an upcoming Job Fair in the state to search for new talent.

Dozens of Career Paths Available in Child Welfare

DCFS is currently hiring for a wide range of positions, including child protection and welfare specialists, day care licensing representatives, public service administrators, and legal counsel roles.

Entry-level jobs such as social service aides and office associates are also available, making the event a worthwhile stop for recent graduates and those looking to start a new career path.

According to a DCFS press release, recruiters will be on-site at the Illinois House Speaker Emanuel "Chris" Welch's annual Community Job Fair on June 21, 2025, in Forest Park, at the Proviso Math & Science Academy, 601 West Roosevelt Road.
