In the last two months we've all heard a lot about new Bills being introduced with new laws and regulations. From marijuana legalization to bills on texting and driving and even tax increases. Well there's one more bill about to be introduced that proposes new gun control measures according to Week.com named Senate Bill 1966. They say its a response to the horrible Aurora factory shooting.

If the bill passes there are several things that will change such as, eliminate background check loopholes, bring a new universal background check into the mix, require all gun sales to go through licensed dealers, increase the period to 90 days for approving and denying gun licenses and to require mandatory fingerprinting for all gun owner applications and renewals. The bill will also include sharing to different organizations information on prohibited gun owners and gun revocations.

No matter if the bill passes or not, most of us can agree on one thing, we want our families safe and protected.
