It's another day, another food recall.

Sure, Hungry Man meals slogan may be "Eat Like a Man," but you might actually "Puke Like a Girl After Too Many Tequila Rose Shots" if you eat any of their frozen meals that are currently under a recall for salmonella concerns.

According to Food Safety News, a public health alert was issued out of the "utmost of caution to ensure that consumers are aware that these products should not be consumed."

If you recently purchased Hungry Man meals, check your freezer for the following:

  • “HUNGRY MAN CHIPOTLE BBQ SAUCED BONELESS CHICKEN WYNGZ," 15.25-oz  with a best buy date of 9/6/19.
  • On the side of the carton, you'll want to look for establishment numbers “EST. P138” or “P-138”

Whey powder used to make ranch dressing seasoning is the primary concern with the seasoning being used in the mashed potatoes included in Hungry Man chicken dinners.

If you've purchased any Hungry Man meals that contain mashed potatoes, even if they're not part of the recall, you should throw them away immediately. You can never be too safe, especially when it comes to food poisoning.
