Every time we ask on air what the first thing you will do when the COVID-19 quarantine is over, 3 answers consistently dominate the responses; hug my parents/family, get my hair done, and hit the casino/slots.

If those answers are in your top three as well, I can tell you this bit of good news, hitting up the casino will likely happen before you can get your hair did, if you make the short trip to Madison.

Fox6Now in Madison reports that Ho-Chuck Gaming Madison will be reopening on Wednesday, March 27, BUT it will be a phased-in process and will not only limit how many people can enter each day, but also who will be allowed to enter at first.

According to Fox6Now;

Ho-Chunk Nation officials noted the reopening will be a “phased-in process” that will initially not include the general public.

On May 27, they’ll allow gaming on 400 of 1,300 slot machines, with limited hours. Only Ho-Chunk Gaming-Madison Players Club Wisconsin members will be allowed.

Food and beverage operations will remain closed during this first phase.

The article also states that when Ho-Chunk Casino Madison reopens to the general public, everyone will have to get their temperature checked before entering.

If you're wondering about the reopening status of other major casinos in Wisconsin, Fox6Now reports;

Officials with Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee on Thursday, May 14 announced they would remain closed after the Wisconsin Supreme Court blocked the state’s “Safer at Home” order — essentially reopening the state. “The PHC team is actively working on ways to create a safe environment for our team members and guests.
