Illinois is the only state on this list to have two different cemeteries featured, if you need to know just how haunted these places actually are.

You know, back in the day, I was horrified by cemeteries. My Dad used to tease me and say, "You know what they say about cemeteries? People are dying to get in here." I didn't think it was that funny then, and knowing now that two of these places are some of the most haunted in America makes it even worse.

Called one of the most haunted cemeteries in the world, it is hidden in a thick forest and is linked to gangster activity in the 1930s. Visitors claim they see ghostly figures, orbs, and a woman dressed in white sitting on tombstones.
