Halloween Costume Swap This Weekend
How many of you have old Halloween costumes just sitting in a box? Or maybe the ones your kids have outgrown from last year?
Before you go out and buy a new costume and add to that growing pile for next year, swap it for a new-to-you costume this weekend at the Talcott Free Library in Rockton.
The library is one of my favorite community resources and this event is just another reason for me to love them!
Talcott is hosting their First Annual Halloween Costume Swap this Saturday starting at 9 a.m. and going until 2:30 p.m.
They will be taking costumes from sizes newborn all the way up to youth XL.
The costumes must be a complete outfit, as no partial costumes or parts will be taken. Please make sure these costumes are in good condition and clean.
Other items that will NOT be accepted are face paint, makeup, wigs, glue, etc. No rips, tears, or stains unless they belong on the costume.
For every one costume that you bring in, that is accepted, you will receive a swap ticket to exchange for a new-to-you costume on September 28th.
To check-in to the event and for even more details, please check out the Facebook event page.
Talcott is asking that you be respectful of others and only shop for what you need this year.
