I'm all about watching adorable puppies and animals on television, but when I saw all the people up in arms on social media yesterday over this year's Super Bowl commercial from GoDaddy, of course I had to watch it. What do I have to say about it? "Shame on you, GoDaddy, shame on you."

In case you didn't see it yesterday, here's the ad everyone is talking about.

That commercial was supposed to be a fun parody of this hugely popular Budweiser "Puppy Love" commercial from last year's Super Bowl.

I still applaud Budweiser for that adorable commercial,  but GoDaddy, you missed the mark. Does the commercial grab your attention? You bet! It also infuriated tons who feel that it glorifies puppy mills. In fact over 40,000 people signed a petition to remove it on change.org.

In the end, GoDaddy did the right thing. The GoDaddy CEO, Blake Irving tweeted, "Thank you @animalrescuers for the candid feedback. What should have been a fun and funny ad clearly missed the mark and we will not air it."

Good, boy, GoDaddy. Good boy. We can now all go back to watching this year's Super Bowl commercials without being infuriated. Hopefully.
