Technically this is true.

Hurricane Harbor, like many other businesses in town, is looking for some help this summer. We were lucky enough to be joined by Rachel Kendziora during the morning show when she came on to pitch the idea of working summers at Hurricane Harbor. If everyone there is as nice and enthusiastic as Rachel, then it sounds like a pretty sweet gig.

They are hiring for all positions at the park including Aquatics, Park Services, and Maintenance. If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard, they will pay for your license and all training.

The perks of this job are one of the things that make it so attractive. You get free admission for you and a friend not only to Hurricane Harbor but to ANY Six Flags park in the country. Great America, St. Louis, the one in Texas, all of them. Free roller coasters all summer.

They also have exclusive team member ride nights which sounds awesome. I'm not exactly sure what it is but it sounds like you get to run around a theme park when it's dark out and that's very cool.

This could also be the beginning of a career, that's what happened to our guest Rachel. She started as a summer part-timer years ago and just loved it so she stayed and it blossomed into a full-time job for her.

They're not just hiring kids to watch the pool. Six Flags has a position that's a fit for everyone, and now with new higher pay rates and even better perks (full disclosure, that's from their press release but after listening to Rachel, I definitely believe it.)

Head over to their website to submit an application.
