Garbage Pickup Cancelled Throughout Northern Illinois

Last night's snowstorm will impede garbage pickup for most of the area. Here's what we know.

City of Rockford has reported garbage pickup will not happen today because of Sunday's weather.

Monday’s pick-up will be delayed one day along with the other regularly scheduled pick-up days for the balance of this week.

This is the same for many surrounding townships and villages.

Rockford officials suggest going to rockriverdisposal.com and signing up to receive alerts for updates on service issues or call (815) 965-2489.
