Galapagos Charter School Giving Out Groceries Every Tuesday

So many amazing people, groups and organizations are stepping up and providing for the needs of others, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Once again I have the privilege of sharing how another group of Rockfordians found a way to help those struggling the most, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

That group is Galapagos Rockford Charter School (GRCS). The school family, partnered up with Gourmet Gorilla Inc., Good Food for Kids and the U.S. Department of Agriculture #farmertofamilies program, and made a pretty big announcement.

This partnership will be handing out grocery baskets filled with food for an entire family. The program is available to GRCS families and the entire Rockford community.

The details of the basket giveaways were shared on the school's Facebook page.

The need in our community is great. Many thanks to the GRCS family for being present where it's needed most.
