Frightening Sign Sits Outside Chicago Skyscraper

Some people have a ridiculous fear that brings anxiety every time they pass by a tall building. "Will something fall off this building and smash me like a pop can?" Seems a bit much, until you read the sign sitting outside Prudential Plaza in Chicago right now.

1. How the heck is someone supposed to keep an eye out for falling debris while passing a building like that.
2. Shouldn't that sign read "sidewalk closed"?

Yeah, who is being "a bit much" now? Surely you don't want an icicle falls in piercing you like a magician shoving knives in a box with a person inside, right? Even more, a small chunk of ice could do some serious damage it fells from the top of a 41-story building.
