Friday Night Flix Location Change for 2019 Summer
The movies are still free and the fun is still to be had, but the location is changing for this summer's Friday Night Flix.
We've seen a lot of changes in downtown Rockford in the last few years.
From new restaurants and retail stores popping up to the incredible murals that were just painted a few weeks ago.
Next up: Davis Park.
This summer there will be a beautification project in the park and thus Friday Night Flix is being moved.
It's not going that far away though... just down the street right outside the BMO Harris Bank Center.
According to the press release:
Friday Night Flix announces today that due to future beautification efforts at Davis Park, Friday Night Flix will be moved to outside the BMO Harris Bank Center on Elm St. on June 7, July 12, and August 2.
