We've had some incredible winter views here in Rockford this week, and Chicago is looking cool, too.

I'm not going to say I want a long winter this year, but this week of snow and ice has been pretty beautiful.

We really didn't have any snow up until just before New Year's Day so I can appreciate this.

But you won't catch me saying that in April, ok Mother Nature?

This awesome photos comes from O'Hare airport, which Eyewitness News Meteorologist Kevin Doom describes as: An UNBELIEVABLE visualization of the turbulent vortices that planes leave behind! The cold and humid conditions that have brought us the freezing fog also allowed for these contrails to form down near the surface at O'Hare airport.

So cool! Get it cool, because it's freezing? I know. So funny.
