I think we can all agree that there wasn't much good that came out of the COVID pandemic. The height of the pandemic may have happened over 3 years ago, but a lot of things from it still exist in our culture today. Some people still wear facemasks in public, many people are still grouchy and fight about stupid things, and most of us are still a little uneasy being in large groups of people.

Yes, I know food trucks were hitting the streets well before the COVID pandemic began, but we all REALLY fell in love with them when restaurants were closed for public safety.

Best Food Truck Events in Rockford, Illinois

One food truck event in Rockford that has really taken off in the last few years is Food Truck Tuesdays at Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, and it's kicking off its 2023 season this coming Tuesday, May 2!

For those that haven't been to Food Truck Tuesday yet at Nicholas Conservatory before, here's a glimpse of the delicious fun from last year...

Fourteen different Rockford food trucks will be stretched out over 4 different parking lot areas near Nicholas Conservatory & Garden each Tuesday, and organizers are hoping this will help make lines shorter at each of the vendors.

Food Truck Tuesdays will run from 4 to 9 p.m. each Tuesday starting May 2 through August 29. From September 5 through October 24, Food Truck Tuesday will take place from 4 to 8 p.m.
