Finally, Downtown Rockford is Getting a Grocery Store
Downtown Rockford dwellers will finally have somewhere to grab a gallon of milk.
Whenever I move somewhere new, I forget to check for the closest grocery store.
You can blame this on my Suburban upbringing maybe? I never thought about worrying about finding a grocery store.
Then, you're in downtown Rockford and boom, no grocery store.
But, things are changing!
According to the Rock River Times, next summer we will have a grocery store on North Main Street in Rockford.
The store will be called, Capital Foods and yep, that sounds familiar for a reason, because that new coffee house we're getting over there is called, Capital House.
Both are coming thanks to the Young family in Rockford and I could not be more excited.
