If your children have been asking how everything is going at the North Pole, with Santa and the elves, Dr. Fauci delivered some great news.

If I'm being honest, I was very concerned about Santa Claus and his health. Do we really know with whom he spends his after-Christmas downtime? When it comes to the coronavirus, the big guy is in that high-risk category. Santa is pretty 'up there' in years, plus that belly full of jelly. Before you start to worry that Santa may have to cancel the whole show this Christmas, hold on, because I have good news.

Good news and COVID-19 are rarely in the same sentence, but they are today. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's go-to guy when it comes to infectious diseases, just delivered the Christmas-saving news.

Santa Claus is immune to COVID-19. Dr. Fauci said,

St. Nick is exempt from this because Santa, of all the good qualities, has a lot of good innate immunity. Santa is not going to be spreading any infections to anybody."

The COVID-19 pandemic has ruined nearly everything fun, so it's great to know that the magic of Christmas will be as special as it has always been. Children should still be warned to stay in their beds and not try to get a close look when he visits.
