Over two years ago the moms and graduating 8th grade students of Pecatonica Community Middle School in Pecatonica, Illinois pulled off an epic prank that still has people talking and trying to beat.

Senior Prank Season

I remember that when I entered my senior year of high school my classmates and I had one goal; to pull off an epic class prank.

We thought and disagreed about what to do for WEEKS and eventually all we came up with was TP'ing and decorating the front of the school which we thought looked cool, but in hindsight was seriously lame.

My point here is this; if a schools allows it, class pranks are a right of passage, but the trick is to figure out something to do that does not damage property or hurt anyone else.

I think it's safe to say the Class of 2027 in Pecatonica will have no problem pulling this off.

Epic Class Prank in Pecatonica

I saw a post come up in one of the Pecatonica Facebook group recently said;

When you’re scrolling on FB and the dad prank from 2 years ago pops up from ANOTHER feed with over 91k likes
These kids are sophomores now so we have two more years to come up with a grad prank!

Here's the viral video...

(FYI, one reshare of this video has over 3.5 million likes on TikTok LOL!)

My nephew is a member of Pecatonica's Class of 2027, and I was at the 8th grade graduation ceremony where the above prank was pulled off. I remember seeing all these men wearing the same purple polo shirt, but at the time I just thought they were purchased for a class fundraiser.

I didn't know the truth until the next day when I saw the videos start showing up on Facebook. I think my favorite thing about the prank is that it became very obvious, very quickly that a lot of men in my community let their wives pick out their wardrobes for special occasions. LOL!

I still don't know if the moms or the students (or likely both) came up with the idea, but either way it's fantastic and I can't wait to see what they do at high school graduation!
