Elle King is having a busy year, with her current single with Miranda Lambert, "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)," climbing the charts. The singer is also joining Chris Stapleton on the Canadian leg of his All-American Road Show tour this spring, and in a recent conversation with Taste of Country Nights' Evan Paul, King promised to be on her "best behavior" on the tour. When asked if she would be planning any pranks or "tour shenanigans," King responded with a resounding, "No."

"I'm going to keep my nose clean, I'm going to be on my best behavior, I'm going to say please and thank you, I'm going to absorb as much as I can, I'm going to watch and enjoy the show," she says.

In addition to staying at the top of her game, King says she is looking forward to gleaning all the lessons she can from Stapleton and his crew.

"You have to just learn from everything they do," she says. "From how they treat their tour manager, to the newest roadie, to how they treat people who are techs that work at the venue. I like to see how everybody runs everything and how a successful tour show goes. I try to absorb all of that and be on my best behavior. That's what I'm going to do."

The Canadian leg of Stapleton's tour kicks off April 28 in London, Ontario, and runs through May 14 in Vancouver, British Columbia. King will join him on each date of the run.

In addition to prepping for the tour, King has also been busy with her now-7-month-old son, Lucky Levi, whom she welcomed in September. King also recently chatted with Taste of Country Nights about how motherhood has been treating her.
