It's hard to believe its just been a mere six almost seven months since we heard about the animal hoarding case in Freeport; where over 150 animals were discovered in one home.

Today, there are eleven dogs still awaiting adoption.

The Journal Standard reports, that "while 85 dogs were rescued in March, the number swelled to 95 after multiple dogs gave birth." At the time Of Tina McKinnon's sentencing for hoarding, there were 23 dogs left to adopt. Slowly that number decreased to the eleven that are left today.

The adoption fee for these dogs is $50 which includes rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm tests, and wormings. Adoption applications can be picked up at the Freeport Animal Hospital at 321 E South St. in Freeport, Illinois or email klaue@co.stephenson.il.us and one can be sent to you.

They are just too cute and these eleven deserve a good home to go to.To see pictures of your next cuddly canine and to find out more information visit the Stephenson County Animal County facebook page.
