EAT: GSR Oktoberfest in Loves Park

The 62nd annual GSR Oktoberfest is taking over Loves Park this weekend with German food and music, including one of the biggest draws at the event: authentic German cuisine provided by Cafe 20 out of Morengo.

The celebration also features cultural and souvenir booths, a children's area, authentic German dancing, the popular Stein-Holding contest, and plenty of bier.

Mayor Greg Jury will take part in the annual tradition: Tapping of the Keg, followed by the crowning of Miss Oktoberfest 2026.
