Dream Come True For Sports Fans With Wagering At Illinois Arena
It is a dream come true for sports fans with wagering coming soon to this arena in Illinois.
Illinois You Have Changed
In the past couple of years, Illinois has seemed to have evolved quite a bit. It makes me wonder why it has happened.
Has our state changed because it is finally cool? Probably not. Could it be the youngest kid theory? That is where once a family with multiple kids gets to the last one, they are a lot more lenient. The parents let the baby of the family get away with stuff that no one else could. That is highly unlikely.
It is more likely that our state is broke and they are more open to once forbidden ideas to earn some extra cash to pay the bills. I am talking about things like legalizing recreational marijuana and expansion of gambling to just name a couple.
Gambling Has Expanded In Illinois
Do you remember when gambling first started in Illinois? The only places we had were the handful of riverboats. Now, there are full-blown land-based casinos with machines, tables, and now sports wagering. We are even getting one in Rockford. I never thought I would see the day.
Sports Wagering Is Now A Thing In Illinois
Now, that Illinois has decided that sports wagering is okay in our state, things are about to expand rapidly. Of course, there are sports gambling apps for your phone. Wagering on games is now allowed in casinos. That is leading to the addition of them putting sportsbooks to their facilities. It is about to jump to the next level.
Non-Casino Sportsbooks Opening In Illinois
Now, Illinois is expanding sports wagering in the state. It will now be allowed outside of casinos. They soon will be opening at actual sports arenas. You will be able to gamble on the game you are attending.
The Chicago Bears are working on adding one to Soldier Field. The Chicago Cubs are starting construction at Wrigley Field. Up next the Chicago Blackhawks and Bulls at the United Center.
The United Center Is Adding A Sportsbook To The Arena

"FanDuel Group, the premier online gaming company in the United States, and the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks, today announced plans to open a state-of-the-art FanDuel Sportsbook lounge inside Chicago’s most iconic arena."
