Does Rockford Need A ‘Pedal Pub’ Rolling Around Downtown?

Rockford's downtown is well on the way to "having it all" but without this, it's only 90% there.

Some may disagree and some might call it "dangerous" but, keep in mind, it is supervised by a designated driver and a bartender. Say hello to a pedal pub, just like you will find in Nashville, Detroit, Schaumberg, and even in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at a place appropriately named, Kickstand.

You won't find one of these in downtown Rockford (not yet, at least) but I did the homework for anyone interested in bringing in a new pedal pub. The cost of the actual bicycle vehicle is $40,000. You can order it here.

Does Rockford need a pedal pub? Well, not really... but it'd sure be cool if it did.
