Summer will be a little sweeter for Dierks Bentley. This week, the singer has topped the charts with the summer anthem, "Somewhere on a Beach." The song marks his 14th No. 1 hit.

"Somewhere on a Beach" is the lead single from Bentley's forthcoming studio album Black, which will be released on May 27. This week it holds the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts.

The fastest rising single of Bentley’s career, "Somewhere on a Beach" was written by Michael Tyler, Jaron Boyer, Alexander Palmer, Dave Kuncio and Josh Mirenda.

“‘Somewhere on a Beach’ is setting up our summer just like we wanted and putting fans in the mood to party out on the tour,” Bentley says in a press release. “It’s hard to believe your 14th No. one hit could be your fastest rising. I’m blown away at the reception of the new music, and I can’t wait to start peeling back more layers of the album with the other songs.”

Bentley will ring in summer with a special Somewhere on a Beach Bash over Memorial Day weekend. The singer will be throwing a massive party on May 30 in Panama City Beach, Fla., at the Spinnaker Beach Bar.

“Memorial Day is the official kick off to summer, and this will be a great way to celebrate the current single and the new album,” Bentley says. “We’ll pack as many people on the beach as we can … probably need to start icing the beer down now!"
