From the very first moment I heard Dierks Bentley's song "Riser" I was in love. It is such an amazingly powerful song about strength, determination and re-birth, and the new official video for the song captures that essence perfectly.

According to the website, The Guardian, Dierks got his inspiration for this video by a 60 Minutes segment about families living out their cars to survive:

Instead of trying to tell all their stories, the video, which was directed by Wes Edwards, hones in on the tale of one individual, Amy, whom Edwards met through Safe Haven, a program in Nashville that seeks to provide housing to families in need.

 

The finished product is absolutely beautiful...
