For months I have been driving by and through Rockford's Forest Plaza and have been wondering when the new Dick's Sporting Goods location will be opening. (It seems like they have been working on it forever!!) Well, now we know it will be opening in March, and the hunt is currently underway for 40 new employees.

Just think about it for a minute, warmer weather will be here soon and sports leagues should be firing back up, so wouldn't it be nice to save a little money on the sporting equipment your family needs to get back in the game? Dick's Sporting Goods in Rockford is currently hiring part-time and temporary positions for:

• Cashiers
• Operations and Sales Associates
• Specialists in Customer Service, Lacrosse Service, Price & Signage Coordinator, Running
• Bike and Gold Technicians

Ideal job candidates will have a passion for sports and outdoor activities, available to work nights, weekends and holidays, and 1 to 2 years of retails sales and cash handling experience is preferred, but not required.
