Decatur Man Learns Painful Lesson After Telling Girlfriend To Slow Down
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and criticizing her driving may bring forth that fury — just ask this man in Decatur.
A 45-year-old man was riding alongside his girlfriend and wasn't pleased with her driving. He made the mistake I learned not to do some time ago: he got on to her about it. The man repeatedly told his 48-year-old girlfriend to slow down, according to the police report obtained by herald-review.com. Eventually, he paid the painful price...
He stated after advising her to slow down, he turned his head to his left to check on the grandson and, when he was turning his head back toward the right, she punched him in the mouth with a closed fist causing injury and pain.
I guess the woman getting increasing visibly angry each time he told her to slow down wasn't a good enough sign to stop. Based on the report, it looks as though he secretly(?) called the cops and then she got REALLY mad...
A sworn affidavit said the 48-year-old woman then ordered the boyfriend, 45, out of her van Tuesday morning after he told her he had called police.
And if you're thinking they probably had a rocky relationship before this incident, you'd be right.
Feurer said the victim said he had dated the woman “on and off” for the past three years...
This story gets even more "what the heck"... there was a CHILD in the car when the beatdown happened.
...they were out driving together with the woman’s 3-year-old grandson also riding with them.
Charges were filed and the woman was arrested. You find her charges here.
