Hackers may have accessed payment card information at Trump hotels across the country, including Trump International in Chicago. Here's the latest.

If you recently stayed at Trump International in Chicago at 401 N. Wabash Avenue, you may be included in this recent cyber attack.

Unauthorized software may have been used to access credit card information.

According to The Chicago Tribune, "The data breach may affect people who used credit or debit cards at certain Trump hotels between May 19, 2014 and June 2, 2015.".

The Chicago Tribune also reports that the Trump International website states “Although an independent forensic investigation has not conclusively determined that any particular customer’s payment card information was taken from the properties’ payment card system or misused, we are providing this notice out of an abundance of caution,”.

In a goodwill gesture, the hotel chain is offering a year of identity protection services to anyone who used a payment card during the affected dates.
