The Chicago Cubs lost the pivotal Game 5 of the National League Division Series on Saturday night to rival Milwaukee Brewers, 3-1.

While it was quite the uphill climb for the Cubs, who were down 0-2 in the series but fought back to even it all up and push the division champ Brewers to the brink, they ended up taking the loss.

Brewers Celebrate Win by Trolling Cubs with ‘L’ Flag

As tough as it was to swallow the loss, I get it, the Brewers were a better team on Saturday night and were for most of the season. What I don't get is what happened after the game, according to Outkick:

Before heading back to their locker room to pop hundreds of bottles of booze, the Brewers posed for a team photo on the field, and elected to hold up a white and blue flag with a giant ‘L’ in the middle of it to troll the Cubs' traditional ‘W’ flag they fly after every win.

Dang, that's lame for a professional sports team getting ready to play against the World Series Champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Outkick referred to it as some "little brother" energy, and it's hard for me or anyone to disagree. I mean, you just won, look ahead, not back.
