Comfort Foods in U.S.

When you need a quick cheer you up, what is you go to for comfort food?

For me it's a giant Coke from McDonald's.

According to Thrillist.com the top comfort food for Illinois is deep dish pizza.

Ooooh! Yum. I love deep dish pizza. In Rockford Giordano's is the place to go. If you're in or around Chicago you must stop at Lou Malnati's. Tasty stuff.

Interesting that Wisconsin's top comfort food is their fired cheese curds. Closest we have here is Culver's for those.
