One of the most Christmas-y destinations of the holiday season opened today in Chicago.

Called Christkindlmarket, it's Chicago's largest open-air Christmas festival.

Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Christkindlmarket has become the place to be to get the full-on holiday spirit.

People from far and wide ascend on Chicago during the run of Christkindlmarket, whether it be to check out the vendors, or a myriad of special events, the crowds are usually enormous.

The annual holiday bazaar is so big another opened in Wrigleyville in 2017 and in Milwaukee, Wisconsin last year.

The original (since 1996) Christkindlmarket is located in Chicago's Loop at the Daley Plaza between Washington, Clark, and Dearborn Street and will be open through Christmas Eve.
