Chicago Bear QB Erik Kramer Attempts Suicide
Former Chicago Bears quarterback Erik Kramer shot himself Tuesday in an apparent suicide attempt at a motel in Calabasas, California. Details here.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Erik Kramer reportedly didn’t suffer life-threatening wounds.
Friends have been worried about Kramer since he lost his 18-year-old son, Griffen, to a heroin overdose in 2011.
Bear fans will remember that #12 Erik Kramer played for the Bears from 1994 to 1998, leading Chicago to one playoff appearance in 1994.
He played for four teams throughout his 10-year NFL career.
Glad to hear he is recovering and now he can get the medical care he needs.
