A holiday tradition at the University of Illinois is a must for anyone looking forward to the big day.

Whether you've got the holiday blues or just can't wait for Christmas, the students at the University of Illinois and their "Dial-A-Carol" program is one of the coolest things going today.

All you have to do is dial 217-332-1882 and a group of "mostly student volunteers" will sing a holiday jam just for you.

The Christmas tune singing program is the "longest-running tradition in University Housing" and the folks at U of I's Snyder Hall plan on answering the phone 24/7 through Wednesday, December 18.

In case you don't believe there are real-life humans answering the phones, check out the Dial-A-Carol Facebook for more.
