Brian Anderson, age 63, owner of the Anderson Automotive group, died while he was on vacation in Bermuda.

MyStateline is reporting that Brian Anderson died as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred.

Mr Anderson was:

Riding a rental motorcycle with his 11-year-old granddaughter as a passenger behind him when he collided with a car heading in the opposite direction.

The 11-year old was treated at an area hospital and released. WIFR-TV is reporting the accident happened on Monday, June 19th.

On social media, Brian Anderson is being remembered by family, friends, and co-workers.

Joe Logli, who worked with Brian, said:

Words can't express how I feel right now. I just heard the tragic news, that Brian Anderson, of the Anderson Automotive Group, in Rockford, IL, was killed last night in an accident, in Bermuda. My heart goes out to the Anderson family, and everyone in the Anderson Automotive Group. Brian was such a wonderful man, and it was an honor to work for him, and his family. I'm just beside myself, right now. Thank you so much, Brian, for all that you have done for me, my family, and my hometown of Rockford, IL. May you rest in peace, Brother

 

Funeral services for Anderson are pending.
