We have all heard the stories about bounce houses and high winds. Saturday this story hit a little closer to home right here in Rockford.

According to NBC Chicago, Saturday afternoon in the 200 block of Hemlock Lane, a bounce house for a party was sent into a tumble due to high winds. What's worse is there were four people inside the bounce house at the time. The wind was so bad that it eventually struck a utility pole and even knocked it down. The 4 people that were inside were taken to the hospital for their injuries. At this point, it's been said no life-threatening injuries were reported and there has been no word on how bad the injuries were.

If you ever rent a bounce house or visit one always make sure they're properly anchored to the ground.
