This past weekend, an old water main broke in the 1100 block of North Church Street, between John and Salem streets.  Here's what the City of Rockford Public Works says you should do with your water while repairs continue.

The City of Rockford Public Works Department has been working non stop to fix the 12-inch water main break.  According to WREX TV 13, Public Works Director Tim Hanson says "The water main affected is one of the oldest in the city at 80 years old and its age likely caused the break."
