The nephew of the owner of the original Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago is hoping is idea will to reverse the Cubs curse.

So what's his idea? Well, bringing in a new billy goat named Murphy of course.

You see, 71 years ago today, October 6, 1941, William "Billy Goat" Sianis pet goat named Murphy wasn't allowed into Wrigley Field for the World Series. A curse was placed on the team and the Cubs lost the series and haven't won a series since.

Sam, the nephew of Billy Goat Sianis, is hoping the new goat named Murphy will be the one to reverse the Cubs curse.

Tomorrow Sam and the new Murphy, according to ABC7, will be allowed into Wrigley Field.

I think the team is good enough to beat any curse but you know I'm ok with a new Murphy going to Wrigley. Hey, the Cubs can use all the good ju-ju that they can.
