Big Lots on East State Street is Closing

Rockfordians will soon have to drive a little further for Big Lots' big discounts, because the store located in the Forest Plaza on East State will be closing after the first of the year. Don't worry though, the store in Machesney Park will remain open!

Personally, I feel a little responsible for the closing of this store location. I enjoy the dancing Black Friday ladies in their holiday commercials, yet actually shopping in the store is off my radar for some reason. I better remedy that situation soon so I don't miss out.
