In this COVID-19 quarantine life, Zoom/Facetime/Skype/Microsoft Teams meetings are a constant part of our new "normal", and because of that, "Zoom fatigue" is a real thing now too.

According to Psychology Today;

when you’re on your sixth Zoom or Teams or Skype meeting of the day or you’re hanging out with your friends for a virtual dance party or with colleagues for a virtual happy hour, you are likely to feel a kind of exhaustion from that screen time that's unlike the exhaustion you’d feel from an hour at the gym. Even extroverts can feel worn down by the “high-intensity virtual connecting.”

There are a few things we can do to cut down on our "Zoom fatigue" like making sure we don't have virtual meetings scheduled back-to-back ,and staying focused on the meeting instead of trying to multi-task on double screens during it, but I'd also like to add this one from Go Rockford.

I don't know about you, but I think having pretty backgrounds to look at during a Zoom meeting, instead of a co-workers hot mess of an office, would automatically make me feel better. There are 4 different Zoom mural backgrounds you can download, for free, from Go Rockford. Just click here now to grab them.
