An asteroid with a diameter the size of a refrigerator is on track, at least according to the celebrity scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

The rock, 2018VP1, is moving toward Earth at about 25,000mph, and will probably clip us on November 2nd.

Tyson announced the asteroid on Instagram, saying it's set to hit a day before the Presidential Election, but finished his post by saying “it’s not big enough to cause harm.”⠀

“So if the World ends in 2020, it won’t be the fault of the Universe,” he said.

NASA said there's nothing to worry about, the asteroid only has a 0.41% chance of entering the atmosphere. If it does, it'll disintegrate because it's so small.
